Fun tool Dec 01, 2009 I've wanted a mezzaluna for awhile. I've never used one, but I've seen them used on cooking shows. I'm not good with a chef's knife; therefore, I thought the mezzaluna would let me mince herbs without cutting my fingers off. I didn't want to invest a lot of money on a tool that I might not use so I bought the Furi RR Froggy set. I like this set very much. The double blades are sharp (just be careful when you clean between them), the instrument has good weight, it was reasonably priced, and it's cute. I leave it on the counter because I use it all the time to mince veggies as well as herbs. I am very pleased with this purchase.

yes and no Dec 27, 2008 I both like, and dislike this product. It is very sharp, and it even cuts through raw potato like nothing. The problem is that unless you're starting with something very small, stuff gets caught between the blades and can be very difficult to get out without cutting yourself. I like it but I'm constantly afraid someone's going to get hurt while using it!

Mezzaluna Review Dec 08, 2008 Amazing! I love it! Works like a dream! The duo blades really help in the ease of use. I have used it to chop chocolate, herbs, garlic, vegetables, with just 30-60 seconds of work going back and forth, done! I highly recommend this product for any cook that regularly chops and/or minces. It is wonderful!!!!

Pretty, but... Aug 01, 2008 I saw this and just had to have it. I love the color and the cutting board is of good quality. The blades are super sharp, so beware. After using the Froggy, I found I prefer cutting herbs and ect with a good chef knife. It is easier to control where the blade is going. I'm thinking of getting a traditional Mezzaluna with only one blade instead. It would be nice if this came with something to store the blades in. The plastic covers that it came with are easily cut through, and don't last. By storing it in a drawer, with no covers, the blades are sure to get dull quickly.
