Good size; not preseasoned enough Nov 18, 2009 We're enjoying the griddle, but we sometimes have trouble with food sticking to it. We're planning to season it again ourselves and see if that works.
Great little grill Nov 03, 2009 Great little grill. We use it almost daily and it's so easy to clean. Reheat tortillas, grill eggs, pancakes, etc. Best kitchen equipment I have purchasd in a long while.
So much more than just a griddle Oct 22, 2009 This would be great if all you ever used it for was a griddle. BUT IT DOES MUCH MORE. I use it every day to reheat my leftovers in the oven. It's also a fajita pan and small pizza pan. I'm seriously considering buying a second one!
Great Tortilla skillet! Oct 20, 2009 I like the shape and the bottom is more flat than many other iron skillets I have seen. I had one before that which had some kind of raised ringed ridge on the bottom and was not going to work on my flat topped ceramic stove.
I know some people will balk at the idea of using it on a ceramic top stove, but I like it for that very reason - it's flat bottomed. If you are careful about not putting it on too much of a high heat from the ceramic stove and don't shove the skillet back and forth on top of it or bang it down hard (which will scratch the surface or break the glass perhaps) then it performs just fine.
I have a GE black top ceramic stove and it works great for me. I think people may use too much of a high heat for iron skillets, and it's not necessary seeing as it retains heat very well.
Perfect Oct 11, 2009 Bed, Bath & Beyond didn't have a replacement anymore. This one is a little bigger & came pre-seasoned. This is the closest thing to a my original comal I could find.
